Favorite Foto Friday

Two of my favorite Africa pictures. The first one I didn't take. Maybe Kathleen did. I'm not sure, but it's the picture that captured my heart for the children of Africa. The dirt, the poverty, the need for basic necessities like shoes.

The second picture I took. I don't even know this boy. He was one of 1100 children at Camp Life Week 5. He was proud of his new shoes. It's hard to tell, but he has a rag in his hand and he was polishing his shoes, wiping the dirt off of them so that they would stay clean (very difficult in Africa dirt and dust). More about shoe day coming soon! It was an exciting day at Camp Life!
