Elizabeth's Nighttime Prayer

Dear God,
Thank you for today. Thank you for my family, for Aunt Jen and Uncle Jer, Grandpa Carey, mommy, daddy, my two brothers, the 2 nannys and papas. Help me to get a good night sleep and that we can go to the beach. Amen.

She added the beach part on her own. Where the idea or thought came from....no idea! Her prayers are about the same each night but a couple of nights ago, she decided to add her plea for the beach. Do you think God will answer? Absolutely! Every good and perfect gift is from above and a day or two at the beach is a gift.

We've Taken the Plunge

We've decided there are a lot of reasons to blog and a lot of reasons not to blog.....but we've finally decided to give it a try. One reason we've decided to blog is because my memory is not good and if I don't write it down, I probably won't remember. My mom already remembers things about the kids when they were younger that have slipped my mind. I blame it all on too much Chicka Chicka Boom Boom. (I've probably read that book over 1000 times.)

So, we'd love for you to join us as we explore the make-up of a Tennessee family. One dad, one mom, two boys, one girl and a lot of hopes for a puppy in 2008.
